Day 01: Pune to Delhi to Haridwar
Starting your Chardham Yatra from Faridabad is very convenient. You can drive down to Delhi or take a bus as it only takes about 2- 3 hours. From Delhi we have all arrangements made to reach Haridwar and travel further.
Day 02: Haridwar to Barkot
On reaching Haridwar, you can experience the evening Aarti at Har Ki Pauri. The lightening of diyas, bhajas, holy chants are a great way to sooth your senses and offer prayers to the gods. We then leave for Barkot in Uttarakhand.
Day 03: Barkot to Yamunotri and Back
Next day we head for a Janki Chatti and stop at Hanuman Chatti on the way. Then we trek for a short distance to reach Yamunotri. At Yamunotri pilgrims take a dip in the Garam Kund followed by a visit to the temples of the region.
Day 04: Barkot to Uttarkashi
On this day we leave on a morning drive to reach Uttarkashi via Praketswar caves. At Uttarkashi we pay homage at the KashiVishwanath Temple and stay overnight.
Day 05: Uttarkashi to Gangotri and back
The next morning we leave for Gangotri and witness the spirituality of river Ganga. The Aarti, puja and the quaint and peaceful surroundings are a must see. We leave in time to return to Uttarkashi and stay the night.
Day 06: Uttarkashi to Guptkashi
The next day we cover Guptkashi via Tehri Dam. Here we visit the famous Vishwanath Temple and stay overnight at the booked hotel.
Day 07: Guptkashi to Gaurikund to Kedarnath
We leave Guptkashi in the morning and head straight to Gaurikund followed by a trek. One the way we stop for lunch and a visit to the Shri Kedarnath Ji temple. By night we are back in the hotel and call it a day!
Day 08: Kedarnath to Guptkashi
A morning journey takes us to Guptkashi from Kedarnath. We visit all the famous shrines , participate in the Puja and stay overnight at a nearby hotel.
Day 09: Guptkashi to Badrinath
We leave for Badrinath early morning. On our way we visit the Narsingh Temple. On reaching Badrinath you check in to the hotel. We then set out to visit holy sites like the Tapt Kund, Narad Kund, BadrinathTemple, Bhim Pul and so on.
Day 10: Badrinath to Rudraprayag
The next morning we leave for Rudraprayag. It’s advisable to carry clothes appropriate to the weather. There are chances of catching cold.
Day11- Rudraprayag to Rishikesh
After a stay in Rudraprayag and attending all the pujas and visiting famous temples, we leave for Rishikesh. On entering Rishikesh, one is mesmerised by the natural beauty and can enjoy the landscape and visit as many temples as possible.
Day 12: Rishikesh to Delhi to Faridabad
As the pilgrimage comes to an end, one heads over to Delhi from Rishikesh via road. From Delhi you can then take a cab or bus to Faridabad, having successfully completed your Chardham Yatra.
